  • Why might I be asked to take an eSkill assessment? Employers use eSkill assessments as part of their hiring process to gain an objective measure of your skills and how well they match the requirements of the job you've applied for. This helps them make informed hiring decisions.
  • What types of skills are assessed by eSkill? eSkill offers a vast library of assessments covering various categories, including:

  • Will I be charged to take an eSkill assessment? No, candidates are never charged to take an eSkill assessment. The cost is covered by the employer who is requesting you to take the test as part of their hiring process.
  • Do I need to create an account on the eSkill website to take an assessment? You do not need to create an account on the eSkill website. You will receive a unique link from the employer inviting you to take the specific assessment they require.
  • Can I see examples of eSkill assessment questions? While we don't provide public access to full assessment content for security reasons, some employers may provide sample questions or practice tests as part of their application process. The format and instructions within the actual assessment will be clear.

Taking an eSkill Assessment:

  • How will I know if an employer wants me to take an eSkill assessment? The employer you are applying to will typically notify you via email with a link to the assessment and instructions on how to complete it. Be sure to check your inbox and spam/junk folders.
  • What are the system requirements for taking an eSkill assessment? Generally, you will need:
    • A computer with a stable internet connection.
    • A modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
    • A keyboard and mouse (depending on the assessment).
  • Can I take the assessment on my phone or tablet? While some assessments might be compatible with mobile devices, we generally recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for the best experience and to avoid potential technical issues.   • What should I do if I have technical problems during an assessment? If you encounter technical issues, you should immediately contact the recruitment team or HR department of the company that invited you to take the assessment. They will be able to provide specific assistance related to their testing process.
  • Can I get my results after completing an assessment? The results of your assessment are typically provided directly to the employer. You will usually be notified of the outcome of your application by the employer, not directly by eSkill. You may want to inquire with the employer about their feedback process.
  • What if I have accessibility needs or require accommodations for the assessment? If you have any accessibility needs or require accommodations to take the assessment, please inform the employer who invited you to take the test as soon as possible. They will work with eSkill to provide appropriate support.

Privacy and Security:

  • Is my personal information and assessment data secure? Yes, eSkill takes data privacy and security very seriously. We adhere to strict industry standards to protect your information. The data you provide during the assessment is securely transmitted and stored.
  • How is my assessment data used? Your assessment results are provided to the employer who requested the assessment to help them evaluate your qualifications for the specific job you applied for. eSkill does not share your individual results with other parties without the employer's consent.
